How to un-install a program e.g. ARO that won't let you.?
When I try to un-install an ARO program it will tell me that file doesn't exist, yet the file does exist! It seems it has locked itself in, i.e. I can't delete or un-install it. Any help, would certainly be appreciated.

I was having the exact same problem but I found that ARO 2011 has a separate Uninstall program you have to use. Here's how I did it ...
1. Search for ARO 2011 by clicking on the Start button and type ARO 2011 in the Search box
2. You'll be shown ARO2011 and Uninstall ARO2011.
3. Select the "Uninstall ARO2011" program and follow the pop-ups
This will remove it from your programs.
Hope this helps.

This seems contradictory and a bit risky, but it completely worked for me:
download the latest version of ARO (which I think is ARO2013 at the moment), install it and then turn around and uninstall it right away. Installing the new version is the only effective way to remove ARO2011, since that piece of crap was issued without a decent "uninstall" file included.
The new version uninstalled without a hitch. DONE. No more ARO.
