I love Italian names, so I love both. However, If I was naming my child it would be Sofia.

They're both lovely names, but because Sophia is SO popular, Sofia would get her name misspelled constantly (at least in the U.S.). So personally I'd go with Giuliana (the traditional Italian spelling - just one L) because Juliana is less popular and people are more likely to ask "How do you spell that?" when they hear her name, rather than just assuming they know.
