If I'm 4 months pregnant, and take birth control pills (Yaz) can it kill my baby?

I'm 18 weeks and 2 days pregnant, due on August 18th, and my parents don't know. I'm 16, and am really not looking for name calling or criticism, so please keep negative comments to yourself. I would just really like to know if it could harm my baby to take Yaz birth control. The reason is because my Mom has noticed that I have missed a few periods, and suggested I go back on the pill to see if that helps. I can't tell my Mom or Dad yet, so I just really need to know if it would hurt the baby to take them for a little while. Thanks for the help,

Tors.

You need to tell your parents, I'm a teenage mom so I know how scary it can be to tell your parents plus I had quadruplets. You need to prenatal care for your baby because if you don't the baby can come out with birth defects and they could be deadly.

Please stop talking your birth control pills, they can make you very sick and it make give the unborn baby or babies birth defects as well.

If you honestly don't think its the right time to tell your parents, then please flush the birth control pills down the toilet.

But honey you really do need to tell your parents, i thought my parents would kill me when they found out i was pregnant but they were very calm about it and helped me in anyway they could.

It can harm your baby. I've heard there's not much of a chance of it doing so but that's mostly when people take it a month or so into pregnancy when women aren't aware of it. You're farther along and so why even risk it? Just pretend to take the pill. You need to tell your parents some time, though.

They're not going to give you the pill if you're pregnant. It's standard protocol to check for pregnancy before prescribing the pill. So this is a moot point.

But no, it will not KILL the baby. It is simply unecessary hormones, and they will not be administered because they don't know how that will affect the baby's development.

U should really let them know and stop taking anything that could harm the baby. they will come arould in due time but right now u have to think like a mature person and think about what u r doing to the baby. birthcontrol clearly states not to take it if u r pregnant, the hormones and whatever else is in it will go right to the baby and i have heard it causes birth defects. let them know u will feel much better knowing u arent hurting the baby.

Tell your parents. DO NOT TAKE BIRTH CONTROL WHILE PREGNANT.

Tell your parents. Not getting prenatal care for your baby is bad. There can be many complecations with pregnancy that you can avoid by getting care early in the pregnancy. You don't just go to the hospital for it to be born.

    Again, tell your parents.

actually i don't think it hurts a baby to take the pills, but i might be wrong. why don't you just pretend to take them just in case?
