Good places to hang out in Minneapolis, MN?
I'm thinking of going to college there, and I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions of good places to hang out? I like dancing, music, and movies. I don't drink and I can't stand the smell of cigarettes. I don't mind large amounts of people. Hopefully that information will help.

Luckily, you can't smoke indoors in MN... Of course, there is the Mall of America in Bloomington - you can hop on the train downtown and get there easily. If you like the club scene there are some 18+ clubs downtown... MN is the land of malls, so there are plenty to choose from and most have a movie theater. Minneapolis also has great neighborhoods where there are lots of cafes and shops - just pick one: Northeast, Uptown (lakes in the summer), Dinkytown, South Minneapolis has the Midtown Global Market which is a cool place to go with lots of restaurants and little shops.
