What is better for a gaming computer?
I am stuck deciding which computer I should by for gaming, I don't know which one would be better. I am trying to decide between a:
6-core 2.7Ghz processor 8GB RAM with an ATI Radeon HD 5570 graphics card with HDMI output
OR
a 4-core 3.2Ghz processor with 8GB RAM with an ATI Radeon HD 4200 graphics card with NO HDMI output.
Which one is better for gaming and why?? I really need help with this (They are both basically the same price)

6 core is pointless for gaming along with 8gb of ram and 4200 is integrated which isn't evne meant for gaming

There is no reason why you need a 6-core processor if you don't have a high end graphics card. Go with the radeon 6800 series.
The other set up is bad. I own this setup. I have a Asus m4a89gtd pro/usb3 mobo with a amd phenom ii x4 3.2ghz. The mobo has HD 4290 graphics and I can barely play monday night combat lol. Or mafia 2 . I'm going to upgrade to a 6870 soon.
8gb is great.
Most games need atleast 4 cores. So your fine with the quad cord CPU.

If their each about the same cost, it's a no brainer. The first one has a stronger(though, not by much) video card. 6 cores or 4 means nothing unless the program your running was written to utilize all the cores. With the 1st model having an HDMI port, connecting it to an HDTV is awesome. You just have to change the resolution on the HDMI output to match the TV.

My guess is that the first option is better, but I don't know much about the 4200. Neither graphics card is that great. I would recommend looking to see if you can get something better than either of those. 8GB of ram is pretty overkill. If there is any way you could down the ram to 4 or 6gb and use the extra money for a better graphics card that would be your best option.

Based off the information, I would recommend that the first choice. Better graphics card, HDMI output doesn't matter unless you have a monitor that can take it though.
Also, the 6 core processors overclock well, and rate higher on tomshardware.com

Six-core is good but not required much today, but video card in the first one is at least not integrated, not gaming but not the worst one. Second comp has integrated video - not for gaming AT ALL.
but honestly both are not gaming computers. If you want a real gaming PC then check this out:

Well the first one is better, but it needs a better video card because that 1 is very low end.
2nd one probably wont even begin to play new games, as that video card was low end 5 years ago

First computer is better!
