NFL is so hypocritical..Going down hill?
They say moving the kick of from the 30 to the 35 is for the players safety??? But what about the 18 game season they want? That's more unsafe then the kick off. I personally think the NFL is a mess, the owners and players are being very selfish. The players need to remember when they were kids, growing up in poor families, dreaming about playing in the"League" If i had the chance to play for the NFL ill play for little to nothing, Players should play for the love of the game. Not to play for the money and use that to party and go out to strip clubs... I Know the Owners need to make money but they need to settle on an agreement or else they will lose even more money if they didn't have a season. Opinions guys?

It's getting ridiculous.. some billionaire needs to start a new league and recruit the top players to compete with the NFL.. everyone is to blame I think.. Owners, NFL, and def the players.

The kick-off at the 35 yard line is another rule to take action out of the league. I'll take a wait and see attitude as to how bad it will be. It seems the NFL is attempting to commit suicide by a million small cuts.
Goodell has been a disaster. If the league has any interruption of the next season's schedule the media better start putting some heat on the Cabana Boy, Goodell. The Media probably will continue to avoid scrutiny of Goodell because he's their kind of guy.

What you need to know is that the only reason the owners suddenly are making a big deal about players safety is because they want an 18 game season. When the original proposal for 18 games came up the players argued about injuries, so the owners decided they would make changes to increase the safety of players, that way when they complained about safety the owners could site the changes they made in an effort to protect the players. It's all about bargaining tactics in the new CBA. You have to look at this like a fortune 500 company. You will rarely ever see the owners make the workplace better for employees unless they are forced to or are able to profit from it.

This is why Goodell needs to go. They should boo him off the stage during the draft

oh yea, like you would work for minimum wage regardless of what type of work you are doing? grow up, people want to earn as much money as they can, and in football like most pro sports, the life span of the job is short, so they want all they can get. it makes sense, pay what the market can bear.
