Why wont my update apply in firefox?

what i had to do was get read of the old fire fox and download the new one or your internet connection is to slow to download the updates for it so it can pretty much be anything else or you got the pop up blocker turned on which will also stop it from updating so check if its turned on because ive had it counted as a pop up when i downloaded mine and i had to turn it off so it could update.
