my friend can't access the internet except for windows live messenger?
my friend can't access the internet with any of her browsers. she says its the same with all her computers. the only exception seems to be her Windows live messenger?
she says the message she's getting on her browsers is "connection has timed out." she has IE Chrome and firefox

try to disable the network card and enable it again, or may be just restarting the PC would do.
give it a try.

it seems she has reached her download limit. you should call your internet provider.
