I expect that you can get them back without paying again.
They are probably still on your computer.
If somehow the shortcuts on your desktop have been deleted, then it would
appear that the software that you purchased had suddenly just vanished.
The executables of the software are located in your Program Files folder,
from which you can create new shortcuts to appear on your desktop.
Right-mouse on the icon of an executable, then "Send To" Desktop (create shortcut).
