computer mouse clicking by itself?
well my computer is acting up. My computer mouse is clicking by itself now for some reason. I have windows xp servis pack 3 and labtop. I'm not clicking the pad or anything. TO test it i click on shut down. Huverd over shut down tab and it pressed it without me doing it. Its starting to get anoying. Any one know what the hell it is. Is it a virus.?

unlikly that its a virus, as most viruses are more destructive than that. More likly either the pad sensitivity is so high that changes in air pressure are effecting it (rare but not unheard of) or that your physical hard ware is itself damaged. no real solution. if all else fails google it

undecided why it is in psychology 'reason psych is a technology, buuuut some variety of malfunction with the mouse is my guess. Is there a reflective floor someplace close by? that would do it. i'm not probable particular, yet truthfully not a ghost, haha. :)
