Opera 11.01. It's amazing how much the new Firefox looks like Opera now. They're slowly catching up -- even have a "paste and go" option at last. Keyboard navigation's still a nightmare, though, and you're still stuck with all those annoying add-ons for everything that Opera does "out of the box."

I even have used Google Chrome and Firefox and prefer Google Chrome. Google Chrome is an somewhat speedy browser. in actuality, in case you examine comments of browser tests on PCWorld magazine, you will discover that Google Chrome published the ideal overall performance in tests concerning internet Explorer, Firefox and Google Chrome. in spite of the shown fact that, Google Chrome might properly be complicated to get used to. It does not have the same old report menu that Firefox and internet Explorer have so that's going to take time to get used to finding someplace else for elementary purposes. between the two, the tabbed surfing features in Google Chrome are far greater suitable to Firefox. In Chrome, it rather is attainable for the consumer to flow tabs between 2 diverse abode windows.

Firefox 4 seems way better than the 3 series. Very responsive. I do prefer it over Chrome.
Chrome may win for the "fastest startup" but that's not a big deal for me.
I also don't trust Google, especially where my privacy is concerned.
If I had to use Chrome, I would use Chromium instead.

on windows I would probably go with firefox but I am using chrome on my MacBook and I am currently upgrading to firefox 4 to see if there is any difference but Chrome is really fast and all I need but I had it on my Asus and thought it was crap.
Source(s): Depends on what you have it on but firefox has been around for ages and is a stable browser while google will eventually take over the world - Anonymous1 decade ago
I use both for different purposes.
Chrome:
Fast
Clean+ simple
Convenient
Easy to use
Sync to account feature
Firefox:
Addons
If you don't use firefox addons I recommend chrome.

Google chrome because it's clean, fast, simple and you can download games. That's why my brother likes it :)

Ditto Voremus' answer.
Chrome might be faster, but giving Google access to your private info is like having a fox guarding your hen house.
Like confessing something to your girlfriend that she claims she'll never use against you...
but she has it and is able to use it at any time ;-)
