Am I required to have my car inspected in Valencia County, NM?

I recently moved to Los Lunas, NM. I'm told that not all cities in the state require annual inspections. Does anyone know if it's required here? I'm having trouble finding an answer locally!

    I live in Alamogordo NM.. i have a 2009 truck and did not have to have an inspection only 5 months ago when my registration was renewed.. they are not very strict in this state.
