In adelaide what size truck can be driven on a normal drivers licence?

just need to know what truck size is legal to drive on my licence. At what point would i need to get a light weight truck licence

    The same size that can be driven in any other Australian State or Territory. License classes were standardised throughout Australia many years ago.

    If you have a standard car license it's called "Class C".

    A 'Class C' licence covers vehicles up to 4.5 tonnes gross vehicle mass (GVM)

    GVM is the maximum recommended weight a vehicle can be when loaded.

    A 'Class C' Licence allows you to drive cars, utilities, vans, some light trucks, car-based motor tricycles, tractors and implements such as graders.

    You can also drive vehicles that seat up to 12 adults, including the driver.
