Is the Sims Medieval all quest based, or can you have a Sim live day to day like the other Sims games?

Once you completed quest and your Sims Kingdom ambitions have been unlocked you can play "Free Mode" but you have to advance very far into the game for that option

1. You get them from this quest list and you have to have an active quest in order to play. 2. The game "ends" at the end of an ambition. 3. Yes you still have free will you just have to make progress on your quest every couple of days. 4. It's typical medieval type quests, save the monarch from being killed, diplomatic missions etc. 5. You can't create a family but your sim can marry another and I'm not sure about the kids aging but I think they can because I believe you can send your grown kid up to another place to start a kingdom. 6. YES 7. Similar though I'm not sure what completing them does.

The Sims Medieval is very quest based, but you can make families (engage, marry, divorce, have babies and toddlers). You also have to look after your Sims needs, although you only have two: Hunger and Energy. You can also make relationships, but it has no skills.
