Looking for curler sets?

I'm looking for ways to curl my hair with no heat. Sleeping in rollers is easiest. I know there's a certain pattern they're supposed to go in, but I can't remember what they are. Does anyone know? Or perhaps other ways of curling it with no heat?

I do my hair and my BF's hair (he's got lovely shoulder-length hair) a few times a week on velcro rollers. Here's how we do it:

    1. Put dry hair in rollers. I use medium & large rollers on his hair, smaller ones on mine for more curl.

    2. Take a nice hot steamy shower WITHOUT getting your rollers wet. DONT cover them with a shower cap or you won't get the steam effect.

    3. After you get out, hit each roller with the blowdryer for 10-20 secs. TIP: Use a diffuser and put one of the prong thingies inside each roller for a few seconds.

    4. Leave your rollers in while you get dressed, put your makeup on, etc. We usually spend half an hour or so with our hair up.

    5. Take rollers out, flip your head over and finger fluff your hair, add a headband or barrettes, & go!

This gives us big bouncy waves without heat. If you want more hold spray your rollers before you take your hair down.

The other option is to wash your hair, blowdry it till it's just damp, then set it on rollers and let it dry that way. I'll do our hair like this when we're not going out till the evening and we've got an afternoon to spend in rollers.

    Enjoy,

    TT
