Help with English language?

English is my second language, and I like to know if there is a way or a technique to improve my spellings.

Also do syllables have anything to do with good spellings?

    There is also 'spell check' in Microsoft Word and many other programs that accept English (you might have to change your own computer settings on your computer if these are set to another language (control panel). You'll get a red squiggly underline when you've made a mistake.

    Syllables can help you break down a word into smaller parts, but for English, many words are borrowed from other language families, so you will need to learn the exceptions as well as general patterns.
