how do i get this wet stain off my shirt?

i barely wore the shirt once and it has the stain on it. it looks like if a splash of water was splashed on the shirt, but the problem is that it is not water. i dont know what it is. im thinking oil but idk. i washed the shirt, ironed the shirt, and still the stain is not off. i sprayed some water on the stain, and ironed over it, the water then goes away, but the stain still remains. what kind of stain is this? and how do i get it off?

Update:

like i said, the stain LOOKS LIKE a splash of water got on my shirt, but the difference from the stain and a splash of water, is that the splash of water dries up/evaporates and this stain stays there.

I agree with Saaanen that the stain is most likely grease. Rub some dish soap into the stain. Let that sit for about 20 minutes. Then launder the shirt as usual.

    Good luck.

Try club soda or sprite mixed with dish soap. :) then just throw it in the washer after it sits
