Do others who answer question look up others who answer questions only to find...?

I often look at a persons profile. Along with that, I will often look at the questions and answers that person has given. It is sometimes very revealing. Public forums are always full of people that have nothing better to do than to try to put one over on others.

No, not really, only when I find a person interesting. I don't go out of my way to look at other people's profiles. What I do know is that there are a lot of psycho people here. I have received some weird e-mails, e.g. one person asked if I would like to beat the crap out of him just for the fun of it because it would turn him on. Needless to say, I declined the offer. It is very easy to lose respect for someone here. Sometimes just by reading an answer, I know that the person does not deserve any respect.

There is a lot of that on here. It is the Internet after all. Many claim to know things, yet few are really knowledgeable on their topic. I found a guy about a year ago who was an old man in one post and a little girl in the other. I think (don't know for sure) it was a teenage boy. Happily most of them don't stay long. We can be thankful for their short attention span. And some folks just disagree on some stuff. We have had words, yet we agree on many things, and are still here. Some here mean well, and others just want to make trouble for sport.

But this is happening all across Answers, not just here, and I agree this is not a martial art question, but it runs the whole of Answers.

If I see a really good answer I will look up the profile. For relay good answers I usually find the information consist ant. Been fooled a couple times though. I try to be as open as I can without losing my Identity. I accept e-mail and usually respond if the e-mail is not just a stupid rant.

I tend not to respect folks who wont accept e-mail or hide everything.

Some people just arent happy with themselves so they are dishonest on the internet.

I look at profiles when im intrested in a persons answers. I have not yet come across one of those people

I do with the extremes. When I suspect a troll or when I truly respect someone's thoughtful answers and want to read more from them.

It's the internet, all girls are men, all men are children and all children are undercover cops.

What does this question have to do with martial arts? Think critically and you should be able to figure which answers are worth more than others.

Sometimes I can easily notice it if such person are always trolling around, but sometimes I bother not to do so because I will spend my time reviewing on what they posted previously.

You also lose my respect when you spell incorrectly. It shows lack of care. It is lose, not loose. Loose means slack, which is how I see you.

yes i do a lot. mostly it depends upon they way they answer or what the questions is. whether ill waste time looking into there profile
