The business will sharpen the type of scissors used by hair stylists. I'm not looking for some cutesy smart sounding name. Just a name that can be remembered, is professional, and my customers will remember. Keep in mind that it also must be a name that is not already being used by some company.

I have tried ,many supposedly Free sites only to find out that sure you can search for free, but you are not going to be allowed to see the results until you pay them. It should be illegal to advertise that something is free then always require a charge for the results. I keep getting calls from phone numbers I don;t know. They never leave a message but call again in a few days. I want to find out who is calling.

I just answered 2 questions and started to answer a third one, only to have a message pop up from Yahoo telling me that I'd reached my limit on the number of questions I can answer today... Another great feature from Yahoo. I wish they would stop making changes in look and functionality, and just keep things working and troll free...

As a long time martial arts instructor, I think I can say that I've seen just about every kind of student. I have a clear idea of what I think is, a perfect student. What is your idea of what a perfect student is like?

Anyone that has been active here will quickly see a trend that the younger guys have set in concrete in their minds. That is the mistaken belief that the most powerful, kick, punch, ...etc is the best and always better than less powerful ones. Have you seen this misunderstanding of the real world too?

Sensei La Rocco was a 9th dan in Isshinryu and lived and taught here in Cumming, Georgia. He passed away suddenly on Saturday afternoon April 5th, 2014. When I moved to Georgia in 2008, La Rocco Sensei quickly became my best friend here. He was always open to my input on training and often had me share my training even though it was not Isshinryu. The martial arts world lost a great man in his passing. I was just wondering how many of you knew him or had heard of him. Those that knew him were lucky. He will be missed by many people both within the martial arts and those that were not.

I find it harder to navigate and visually overwhelming. It has improved nothing and is just different. I am a programmer and see no reason for this new format. It worked fine and was easy to navigate. Does anyone here like the new Yahoo?

We have a few here that think themselves more knowledgeable than the guys with much more experience. They profess to tell it like it is and not act politically correct as the seniors are accused of being. They attack anything that is not mma and freely answer anything that is posted about TMA. Yet I find I'm being blocked from viewing or answering their recent questions. It seems that they feel it is OK to comment on my and other's questions, yet are closed minded to the point of blocking us from answering their questions. What do you think of people who can post whatever they want, but prevent others from doing the same?

When someone posts a question shouldn't it be to get other people opinions? most of the members in this section except that if they post a question they will get answers they don't like or agree with. Most people take that and don't exclude answers from more experienced members.

It is obvious (at least to those of us that have studied the martial arts a long time) that most martial arts schools do not teach all of their style. In fact most teach only basics. In a few a bit more is taught, but very few teach all of their style. I ask this to make people think about things rather than listen to the incorrect statements a few Mal-contents here spout all the time. I have what I believe are the main reasons for this, but I'd like to hear what others think. I'll post my reasons, which I think are reasonable in a day or so.

Avery time I read about Seagal it says he was the first Westerner to begin to teach Aikido in Japan. Many say that he was the first Westerner to open a dojo in Japan. I'm not sure he was the first westerner to open his own class in Japan. The American that inherited the style I study, Albert C. Church, was in Japan from 1967 till May of 1969. He opened a dojo in Japan during that period. What I can't say is exactly when, but is was between 1967 and 1969.

What I can find about Steven Seagal never says when he began to teach his on his own in Japan. I did find something that said he received his Shodan in 1974. If that is correct then he was not the first Westerner to run his own dojo in Japan. First degree black belt is not an instructors rank in any legitimate martial art. so it appears that Seagal could not have begun to teach for at least some years after 1974.

Does anyone have reliable information saying what year Seagal began to teach in Japan?

Members profiles have a link no the bottom right that allows you to report profiles that violate Yahoo TOS. So what is with them asking for more information? I reported a profile that clearly is nothing but advertising for the members business. Anyone that bothered to look at the person profile would see that. Instead YA sends me a message telling me that they need me to supply more information for them to investigate the profile. That is totally stupid. Even if it made sense, what else could I possibly give them that the profile does not have already? Anyone else had this problem reporting profiles?

I'm curious about this for a reason I'll state later. So lets say that we limit your area to within 10 to 12 miles. So how many different types of martial arts classes are no further away from your home?

Here in Cumming Georgia, we have Taekwondo schools, a Judo school, a Karate class at a health club. And we have Tai Chi, and Hapkido at the local recreation department.

Easier to use, No. Takes longer to navigate, Yes. Better, No. Having a degree in the computer information systems, I am always amazed at the silly idea that everything is always in need of being changed. I subscribe to the "If it isn't broken, don't fix it" attitude. Change for the sake of change is always a bad idea. This new Yahoo Answer is in my mind worse than Windows Vista was. What do you think about it?
