Is anyone else as ticke off with this new Yahoo interface as I am?
Easier to use, No. Takes longer to navigate, Yes. Better, No. Having a degree in the computer information systems, I am always amazed at the silly idea that everything is always in need of being changed. I subscribe to the "If it isn't broken, don't fix it" attitude. Change for the sake of change is always a bad idea. This new Yahoo Answer is in my mind worse than Windows Vista was. What do you think about it?
Yes, I'm aware of using the Canada route to avoid this. but as you said it has not been ruined yet. I'd like to see the old interface back and better reporting response. The last time i reported a nasty illegal profile, they replied asking me for more proof, and also required me to send a copy of my I.D.
If I'm not mistaken I think the problem has a lot to do with the fact that many of the Yahoo accounts are free. Can't say how many people pay for the premium Yahoo. I just know I have the free account. I'll bet most of you do too. Yahoo makes their money with the advertising they display. And lately we have been stuck with the silly links at the bottom of questions. It's about making money, not pleasing the casual users. I'll bet they are more professional when dealing with the people that pay for advertising on here.

I have been designing user interfaces for 25 years, and there are guidelines that need to be followed in order for your product to be accepted. Google (Youtube), Facebook, and Yahoo violated every one of those rules. But Yahoo takes it to a professional low.
The changes in Facebook were gradual, and there is online help to assist people who were confused with the changes. They learned from their mistakes, despite having made the changes to begin with. And finding your inbox in Youtube was like playing whack-a-mole. At least you could google "how to find my youtube inbox".
But with Yahoo, they split between old and new format every few days, there are interface bugs (like one of the title bars that refuses to scroll with the screen). For for awhile, it was like going on an easter egg hunt for trying to find your answered questions. Now they jam it under an "All" link on the "Answers Home" page, not under the "My Activities" page, which would make more sense.
And since they rolled out this disaster, you cannot clean up blocked users if the blocked users are deleted from the system.
Few things in life reek of amateurish management, design, layout, testing, and rollout than what Yahoo has done.

I hate it! Absolutely hate it. They have managed to do what certain armchair warriors tried and failed at. They have ruined Answers. Admittedly I am not on much, now I am not sure how to accomplish anything on here. Yahell has stooped to an all new low.

I hate this new format. It may drive me away from using it. But I do not believe they care what we the users want or think. If they did they would ask for our input.

ABSO-FREAKING-LUTELY!
I sent them some feedback and many others did too. I read some of the posts and they reflected how I felt about this BS "redesign".

Sucks. But you can go to http://ca.answers.yahoo.com/my-activity for example and see the old format.
