how should a christian woman dress?

There is a strong concern that we look after each other as Christians. We are to live our lives so that we put God first, and (within reasonable bounds) others ahead of ourselves.

Women have a reasonable sense as to whether or not how they dress attracts attention, and what sort of attention it attracts (unless they are naive.) Men are extremely visual in the wiring of their brains; if Christian women were really concerned with living a life of helping look after each other, they would remember to be modest. Modesty is not about dressing plainly because it's a virtue to not look really attractive; modesty is about helping keep things decent-- not just in public action, but private thought. This is not to say that they need to absolutely hide the feminine form, but on the other hand, they sure could help their brothers in the faith out a good deal more, in their walk with God, by making some more modest choices in clothing, and saving being sexually attractive for the one person you're married to.

Consider; a man is responsible to guard his mind from impurity and woman is responsible to help prevent the lustful stare. Lust in inexcusable on the man’s part; but if a woman by her apparel or conduct has encouraged it, she also shares in the guilt.

A Christian should not attract undue attention to herself. Clothes should not be provocative or suggestive, should not expose large areas of the human anatomy nor have a conforming fit with suggestive intent.

The Christian should consider how her clothes reveals her body in its normal movements of sitting, standing, bending, etc. Clothes should not be attention getting that would draw attention to self and off of God.

a Christian girl should dress with a modest heart but the way she dresses should be up to her providing of course she is old enough to make that decision

you are correct...we are supposed to help our brothers in christ...not hinder them...we should dress modestly...you can wear shorter shorts and swim suits when you are around girls only but when you are around guys you need to watch what you wear and cover up

A bland and unattractive dress. They should also make sure to cover up that sinful hair.
