am i clinically depressed?

i've lost interest in many of the things that i used to enjoy, i've noticed that i'm eating less and sleeping more, i've been thinking a lot more about death than usual, i'm finding it harder to concentrate and remember things, and i'm almost never in a good mood. so i was just wondering how likely it is that i'm clinically depressed.

You are certainly displaying a lot of symptoms that relate to clinical depression (excessive sleeping, morbid thoughts, loss of interest, change in eating habits, easily distracted and issues with memory). You should make an appointment to meet with a psychiatrist - he will help you decide a route to combat this, be it medicine or counseling.

Just remember that bad things are temporary; don't do anything to hurt or harm yourself. You can and will get help.

I used to be clinically depressed and talking to a psychiatrist only made it worse cause she suggested I openly admit I'm bisexual in my school and that went terribly....

It seems you're depressed, I started smoking weed and it really helped.. I suggest you try your best to reach out to friends to help you.. Don't drink, it'll only increase suicidal thoughts

hang in there man people care about you

I myself am depressed and taking mess for it. The only symptoms I experienced before I started treatment was loss of interest. But I'm no doctor, so I would go talk to yours, they can tell you slot more than I can.
