How did Vladimir Lenin influence the world community?

I know that Lenin played major role in spreading communism after founding the USSR, but how has he been able to influence others. What communist revolutions have stemmed from his actions, and can his influence be seen today?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

He influence other greatly. He ask for many other countries that were facing revolution and depression to follow Russia and set up a worker's government(communist). Many countries did tired to set up a communist government some succeed in doing so but many failed and the revolution was either put down or a different type of government was set up(Usually a Fascist or Nationalist).

His influence are seen today. Times put Lein in 100 most influential persons. His work is read through out the world.

He influenced others THROUGH the spread of communism. He spread communism to other countries by sending undercover agents to plant the ideals of communism in the minds of the poor, causing revolt. This happened time and time again, also known as the Domino Theory in later years. The largest and most resonating revolution influenced to this day by Lenin, is the Chinese Revolution in 1949. Mao Zedong learned from Lenin.

We aren't paying attention to it, because it doesn't mean anything. ANY US president who wins this election will be strongly tested in a number of ways- and hopefully come through it with flying colors. Why do I say that? It's because Bush will leave such a mess that it will take all the strength, cooperation and power in the country to come through it unscathed. Do Republicans really think that McCain can win voters' confidence by whining and grumbling about Obama (75%), BS'ing (20%), and talking about the problems of this country in a meaningful way with real solutions offered (5%)? Biden made a gaffe, and so did Sarah Palin, about the responsibilities of a VP.
