Network connection error on itunes?

iTunes Help is unavailable because your computer isn’t connected to the Internet.

To view iTunes Help, make sure you’re connected to the Internet, then choose iTunes Help from the Help menu.

That is the error I get every time I try to go onto the iTunes store. I have installed the newest version of iTunes, I momentarily disabled Norton Antivirus, and I flushed my DNS cache for windows XP, but none of that helped. I don't know what else to do.

Update:

Yes, my internet is plugged in.

    Update:

I found these links, the first one describes the same issue as yours, with no solution. The second does provide something that seems to work.

Can Quicktime access the Internet? Can you update your anti-virus? Do you have a firewall that could be blocking itunes?
