Why don't we have a Category for BOOKS ?
I have been on ANSWERS for a while...... And I see so many questions about BOOKS
But there is no Category just about books. WHY ??
I did a search and it seems that its about 1860056 results !!!!
Why should be a sub of Arts and Humanities ?
At last count
Cheers from DOWNUNDER

Well you could do what I did which was to post on the YA suggestion board about breaking up Books and Authors into smaller categories. Not that it is likely to do much good. My idea was to have a Books section, a Young Adults section and have a Writing section.
I just get a little tired of having to scroll through myriad questions about vampires and young love. Not that there is anything wrong with that. But then I'm old and decrepit.
Also with so many budding authors they deserve their own sub-section.
Anyway that's my suggestion.

Gamerpc, I theorize that when YA categorized its question-and-answer fields, they intended this one to be for talking about existing books and the authors of those books. What I think they need to add is a separate category for writing. That would deal with, what, about a third of the questions here?

There should be an author help site.
There should be a spelling site with homophones and the like.
And a site on how to formulate questions without appearing stupid.
And a site for trolls where they can troll each other.
That would follow the "Ask a stupid question" site.

That's a good point, actually. I dunno, maybe it's because there aren't enough sub categories to fill it up enough.
