Really sensitive skin?

I get red blotchy rash things after showers. I get them on my upper chest/back/arms and lower neck, and they last a while.

I had White Sands shampoo/conditioner, Paul Mitchell shampoo and some soap I got at the Children hospital. I tried Garnier Fructis and some Suave Kids shampoo. I got baby shampoo and Dove sensitive skin soap. But when I used the soap I still get the itchy marks.

Help please?

Have you tried seeing a dermatologist? The reason I ask, is because there might be something else that is causing you to break out besides the soap. I would suggest using an exfoliator once a week, and see if that helps with your skin during showers. I just bought St. Ive's green tea body scrub, and I am really looking forward to the results.

    Good luck!

Well, my skin has always been very sensitive, but with acne issues as well. I use Neutrogena's Healthy Defense lotion (spf 30! :) ) If you're wanting to get a cleanser and everything....well, let's see. I've been using ProActiv lately, but that's very harsh. I have to use it much more sparingly than the directions say to because of my sensitive skin. What works nicely, that I used before my acne worsened considerably, was Merle Norman's Luxiva Delicate Balance Calming Cleanser, and the lotion that accompanied it. (In the store, it'll be the pale yellow bottles.) They might even have a nice set to give her. The Delicate Balance stuff is designed for sensitive skin, but also oil-free. (They have a good toner in that line, too!)
