The Kinect - Dance Central - Questions?

I saw a video on YouTube about Dance Central (they were actually playing the game not talking about it) and had a few questions. Do you get to make the avatar that dances (and sometimes talks) or is it a generic avatar? Also is the grading (point system) on Dance Central Kinect harder than Just Dance 1 or 2? Like does it read ALL of your movements? I was wondering because on the Just Dance, we (my family and I) sort of cheat (only moving our hands). HEHE... :P

Thank You

Here is the ink to the YouTube video in case I didn't make myself clear

Well as far as I know you don't get to use your own avatar. However, they do have quite a few people that you can choose from.

I've never played Just Dance 1 or 2 but in Dance Central you have to be on key to each move otherwise you don't get the full points. So cheating isn't really an option on this game. I find it more challenging but a lot more fun especially when I get the move right :)

There are about 10 dancers you can choose from, but you don't get to create your own.

The Kinect reads about 21 points on your body, like all your joints and such, so the game tracks whether you're actually doing the move; there's no tricking it. I don't dance well, but I do find it a rather fun game anyhow.
