what do you think of the name Lux for a girl?

It just reminds me of the brand of soap. Luxe actually seems less strange to me. It's French for "luxury" which seems better than being called "soap".

I think Lux could be a cute name for a girl, but I would keep the spelling Lux instead of Luxe.

It makes me think of Lux soap - maybe Luxe is better. It's not a particularly soft sounding name. Does the last name have some softness to it? Also keep in mind (because kids will) that it rhymes with bucks, ducks, f---s and sucks.

I am a writer, and my main character is always named Lux.

I love the name; however, you must take into consideration that it does sound a little like a strippers name.

'Luxe' be mispronounced as 'loox'.
