What do you think of the name Anya?

    It really "dresses up" the simple name of Anne and I really like it.

    It's feminine, recognizable and works with many middle names that don't seem to work as well with Anne, such as Anya Michelle.

    My DIL has informed me that, if they ever have a girl, Anya (maybe Anja) is at the top of their list.

    I think it's very pretty and feminine for a girl. I like it best as a nickname for Anastasia, but it does work on it's own

    Ayan is better, Anya sounds like Enya.
