How long is too long to not have sex in your relationship?
I've been with my wonderful boyfriend for 8 years. In the last 3 years we may have had sex like 8 times and it wasn't very good. We are great in every aspect of the relationship but sex. It's been 6 months since we last had sex. I really don't want to look elsewhere for sex but I miss it so much. Am I wrong for feeling this way?
It seems like I do all the talking about sex. I bring up new ways to spice things up. He's admitted to me that talking about sex makes him uncomfortable. We're both 25 years old, by the way.

If you are mature enough to have sex, then you are mature enough to have a conversation about your sexual relationship. Figure out what it is that is making the sex not good, and try new things. Do not go to another source for sex, as that is not a healthy action. Talk to you boyfriend, and try some new things in the bedroom...what do you have to lose? You may just find a new love for your boyfriend...and have a LOT of fun figuring that out!

It's your call whether you look for sex elsewhere. Just be aware that the future consequences your choice may not be worth the instant gratification.
If you guys have already had sex 8 times, you gotta be having sex almost weekly. It's ridiculous that you haven't had sex in 6 months. Give us some details.. why exactly haven't you had sex in 6 months? Has it simply not "happened" or what?

you're not wrong for feeling that way. but its normal. you might try reading magazines like cosmopolitan or other sex magazine to find ways to make sex better and more fun. and maybe try new things to make it more exciting. change it up. surprise him with lingerie and other fun sexy things.

That is kinda strange he may have found someone else as well . But intimacy is very important so I can understand your wanting someone else to fill that void.
