Out of natural selection, do you think that humans are getting more beautiful and smart?

Thus, are relatively uglier and stupider people going to fade out??

Like in 2,000 years (if the sun does not blow up or any thing like that happens) are humans going to be relatively better looking and more smart??? like as the human population goes up, and life on Earth gets harder and harder and there's so much more competition... only the most smart and most good looking genes are gonna get past down, right??

like I think in some areas... in the rich suburbs of the cites... if you're an ugly and stupid person that lives in your parents basement... that person is gonna have a hard time finding some one to mate with and reproduce... thus that ugly and stupid person's (someone that was adopted into a rich family im thinking of) genes are going to fade out..... right??? so in like 2000 years... will there be more beautiful and smart humans walkin' around???

Update:

@Trish: i wana eat yo pusaaay out. and fyi... just cuz you're ugly don't use that as an excuse to marry someone that is more stupid than you are. make sure you marry someone that is smart too... cuz i know of so many smart girls that think they're "ugly" (some are just fat, not even that ugly) that date/marry guys that are sooooo stupid just cuz they are better looking. like my friend that i have... dated a few VERY stupid guys.... like red neck nothing type people... now she finally found guy that is even smarter and uglier than she is and very happy. actually hes not all that ugly hes just really fat but they both go to uofm and are really smart so they'll have a good little fat/ugly life.

Update 2:

well... i think my good look genes will get passed down.... cuz one day my good look genes are gonna get a smart gene n reproduce.... so then my good looking gene will be mixed with smrt gene... so yea my good looking genes will get passed down.... my brain gene won't... probably :)

You have a point. People's looks have improved and knowledge is cumulative.

HOW ABOUT YOU - DO YOU PLAN TO REPRODUCE?

Would your seed be one of the future beautiful/smart ones?

it rather is a bogus article, in the seventeenth Century maximum folk could no longer examine, or write, and you began your pastime on the age of 6, or 7(it rather is once you have been achieved with college), the first existence expectancy became into 35. So no, people have been not extra clever, and weren't smarter, they did no longer have sufficient time. And no, it rather isn't organic-determination, it rather is pop-subculture, and this is superficial, so no longer widely practiced(very nearly all clever people do locate companions, and that they do procreate). comparable is going along with your assumption that wealthy people, are clever people, numerous the time, wealthy each physique is the main ruthless, they may well be idiots numerous the cases, yet through fact they do no longer hesitate to 'win', they are going to prevail.

Lmao. No offense but people aren't always blessed with beauty AND smarts. Take me for instance- smart, but ugly.

Unfortunately for the beautiful people in the world there are still a few of us uglies that will leave the basement and . . . mate. LoL

Based on natural selection, humans should be getting taller, developing higher overall intellect, and developing larger, longer penises. (Sexual selection for the win).

Unfortunately, evolution is slow and festering, especially in developed countries with high standards of living.

Nature doesn't work like that. Get back to the drawing board. :)
