Pole Dancing for Jesus?

When I saw that headline I thought it must be a joke. But when I looked I found a story about a Christian woman who teaches women dancing with a pole to keep fit.

So what do you all think?

Is it genuine?

Is it a good thing?

Update:

Jake: Thanks for the tip!

Matthew: I must visit Poland some time:)

Leonard: The worship of Baal need relaunching!

It was a legitimate news story. She was a stripper who found the life unfulfilling and decided to find religion. She now has a studio where she teaches dance and on sundays she offers classes to other females on her church who bring their church program as admittance.

I think it's a great idea on how to combine her talents with her new found religion and desire for fellowship with other ladies. Their clothing is appropriate and I'm sure the moves and routines are as well. I also teach pole dance and I teach it as a fitness and self confidence booster, not as a crash course on being a stripper or being a sl*ut.

Good for her, having a legit and thriving business in this economic slump that not only challenges a social norm but that promotes fitness!

I didn't read the link but pole dancing is hard. And very good exercise.

I currently do burlesque dancing, probably not as physical and less "slutty".

Im not religious though, not sure about the other girls, never asked...but I will next week.

I don't know, but I do know that Ba-al, the god the Israelites worshiped before Yahweh, was venerated in the form of a phallic pole.

Genuine and a good thing. You gotta believe. And one hint for skinonfire - remember for best results you need to add love and lubrication.

Sounds harmless enough...and Christians ought to keep fit.
