Personally, I like Tippmann markers. They're easy to use, easy to strip, heavy-duty, reliable, upgradable. I have an A-5, which runs about $150. If you're into a military simulation, that's the way to go. There are cheaper markers on the market.. so shop around a bit if you want. Beware the really cheap-o brands. Affordable for a beginner, but also pretty crappy.. JT, Brass Eagle.. Avoid those.
Tippmann, Spyder, Smart Parts, Tiberius Arms, Invert... Markers of this quality will serve you well.

The epiphany is well. Check out the proto rail and proto slr too. You will want a well hopper, anything like a VL evo two or three, or a halo. Feed elbows suck and so they holiday at all times. Put $30 right into a clamping feed neck. I advocate making use of N2. You can purchase a good metal tank for $60 and a carbon wrapped tank for $a hundred and fifty. You will undoubtedly desire a brand new barrel too. Shop round and purchase what you desire. Looking at stories is well. I regularly pay awareness to the crappy a million megastar stories to look why they inspiration the gun or something sucked. Hope this helped.

Quick tip: NEVER buy a Spyder, JT, Brass Eagle, or any other gun you can find at walmart. A tippmann is a great brand to look at for beginners. The A5 can be a pain to take apart/ put together but its a nice gun. I'd suggest looking on craigs list or ebay for a gently used gun.

Tippmann is a great brand and so is spyder. If you have never been paintballing before it may be worth your money to rent out a few different models and try them out first. The best part about tippmann is that they have great customization options. Another option would be to buy one of the cheap starter guns and sue it until you decide you want to get into it more.
