HOW TO OPEN ZIP FILE?

Yes Windows Xp, Vista and 7 has inbuild zip facility.

To open zip file Right click on zip file and select extract here or extract all.

The inbuilt extraction utility in Windows 7 is very basic.

You can try another software like WinRAR

a zip file is a compressed file or a group of files,this helps to reduce the size of files.to open a zip you need a special program to unzip it.you can download winzip or winrar from download.com..i am not sure whether windows seven allows you to handle zip file because i dont use it, but since windows xp allows it;i think it is likely that windows 7 does; just right-click the file and choose extract and then choose the location you want the files to be exetracted to.hope this helps.
