Why aren't Americans asking the Congressional Teapublicans where the job bills are?

Update:

Could it be that corporate-owned media is stiffling the voice of right-thinking Citizenry? Why are the Teapublicans, who all are amongst the top one percent of the wealthy, attacking the middle-clas but pointedly working to lower the taxes they are already avoiding paying?

Update 2:

Was their Pledge for (against) America just Lemon Pledge sprayed into our eyes?

Interesting . . . LCC and Devin Fleenor are correct but reading the majority of other responses to this question, I would have to say that “willful stupidity” is the major reason that people are not holding Republicans in Congress responsible for their promises in their Pledge to America. It seems that partisan talking points are far more important than looking at the facts and responding to the question. Calling folk ‘racist’ and attempting call someone’s manhood into question for just posting a question on political economics and citizen apathy is . . . There is no kind words for people who even consider typing stuff like that.

Although Rladolf presented the issue in a politically polarized manner, his summation the situation is largely correct.

The nation’s debt is not made worse by moving two wars and the bank bail-out on to the budget. The numbers simply reflected the true condition the GWB Administration left the government. IF your google “Jude Wanniksi” and “Two Santa Claus Theory”, it is easy to see that the Republican strategy for close to three decades has been drive up costs, squelch revenue and blame Democrats if they get back in power. It was and is the tax-breaks to the wealthy that screwed up the situation.

Jobs are the American major issue and de-funding government seems to be the sole focus of House Republicans. The Democrats held both houses of Congress for two years and all the jobs lost during the last Bush Administration have been made up. The situation was made better by the Democrats being in control. The majority of slowness in fixing stuff was Republican Senators filibustering more in two years than the prior fifty years combined.

Jobs are created by demand. Business provides goods and services. The only demand that business provides is to buy stuff they can add value to and resale.

Arguing that the government does not create jobs is beyond stupid. One third of all dollars spent in America is spent by the government. Dollars being spent IS demand. Jobs are created to fulfill that demand. The more the government spends, the more jobs are created.

If you look at history, it is easy to see that every single thing the Republicans are pushing does not work. Hoover called for austerity and the economy collapsed. FDR spent more and it solved the Depression. Truman spent more and poverty was cut in half. Reagan cut taxes on the wealthy and raised them on the middle class and the economy crashed. The first Bush bumped up taxes and stopped the slide then Clinton increased taxes on the wealthy by just three percent and the deficit disappeared.

‘TEApublicans’ appears to be wordplay defining rich Republican pretending to be populists so they can screw the middle class into non-existence to protect themselves being rich. It is true that EVERY single ‘Tea Party’ Republican elected to Congress last year has net-worth placing them into the top one percent of the wealthy in our nation. If you believe otherwise you believed lies or are lying to yourself to maintain your own willful stupidity.

What is required is NOT to spend less but to tax the tax-dodging rich AND the Republicans need to do that job they were elected to do.

"the Teapublicans, who all are amongst the top one percent of the wealthy"??? Trying to respond to this nonsense is a waste of time. Thanks for the two points.

They're trying to create a better climate for job growth by tackling the debt mess which was worsened by having all democrats at the helm.

Because the government doesn't create jobs.

What we need is lower tax rates and a business friendly environment to encourage hiring, not more bailouts and stimulus bills. 'Job Bills' are for Democrats and they don't work.

Source(s): You don't seem to understand how business works.

Because the dems have been in complete power for 2 years and did nothing... America gave up waiting.

Why would we need any? Afterall.. hasn't Obama been "focused like a laser beam" on jobs for years now?

Obviously, you're a racist for not believing that he's taken care of everything.

Because the Teapublicans that put them there are too stupid to ask this question.

Source(s): Republicans are anti-middle class. Anyone that doesn't realize this is a fool.

because people understand that they're too busy ruining other things to help decrease unemployment.
