I have to do a speech in speech class called prose and poetry it has to be 2 to 4 minutes long and i have no idea what to do. ideas please

You don't need a song or poem. The argument is what makes a poem not prose and is the so-called modern Free verse actually poetry when it's just prose formatted like poetry. In between these extremes are other types, like blank verse and prose/poetry. What good poets do is find a middle ground so poems don't sound forced and out of syntax, like Shakespeare's, while still using traditional structures, like meter and rhyme.
