does the barrel adapters for the j and j barrel vital or really usefull?
i am going to buy a j and j barrel, i don't want to get a kit from j and j website due to the expense, but if the barrel adapters that come with it dramatically increase accuracy i may not buy from zephyr or some other paint ball website.

What barrel adapters? Normally a adapter is used to attach one barrel of one thread to a marker that uses a different thread.
You need to be more specific since there are hundreds of barrels that J&J makes.
Post a link for what you are looking at buying. Only way anyone can give you good information.
For the most part it doesn't matter who you buy it from as long as it is the same kit you are looking for. Buy from amazon or eBay for all that maters. Find the cheapest deal if you want or just buy right from the company.
