Should I get a Cd player or subs?
I won a coupon off the radio thats good for $100 towards the purchase of any item at the car stereo place. I already have a factory cd player that works fine in my 02 Grand Prix. Should I upgrade my cd player or should I get some subs and get them hooked up to the factory cd player?

If you want to add subs and aftermarket speakers, you should get an aftermarket unit. They have more audio tuning options and IMO sound better than factory stereos, all things being equal.
I would put the $100 towards a new head unit (the cd player) and buy some speakers if you got the cash while you're at it. Maybe look at crutchfield.com for some info and tips on good speakers.
If you get a sub and amp without new speakers, the bass will totally drown out any sound from your speakers and sound like ****.
Keep in mind you may have to buy a better alternator so the stereo doesn't kill your battery.

It depends on how much extra money your gonna spend and what you want. If you get subs your music will be louder but if you get a cd player you wont have louder music because youll still have the same speakers but people would see the stereo when they got in your car. If i were you and i had extra money id go with the subs.
