ALL Federal employees WILL receive FULL pay for any time the government CLAIMS to be shut down. Unless the shutdown includes a regular payday, they won't even be LATE in receiving a check. Based on the length of the last 2 'shutdowns', This will amount to a PAID vacation for most people actually affected. That said, it is only supposed to effect 'nonessential' employees. I would suggest there should be no such thing as a nonessential Federal employee.

Yes. It was on the news earlier. No reason for the President and Congress to worry...they will still be receiving their paychecks. Go figure.

I hope not. Because anyone that is a private citizen receiving a check from the government, won't. Retirees' are right there at the top of the list.
