Charlotte, NC what are the best areas to live?

which areas are more desirable to live in. I would like to live in a neighborhood that is accepting of all races. I am relocating there.

give zip codes/city names and distance from downtown

    Uptown, South Park, Dilworth, Myers Park, and the South End are all really nice places.

    And remember, in Charlotte, Downtown is called Uptown.

    Matt's recommendations are good but for a more suburban location, try Ballantyne, Waxhaw and even Fort Mill in S. Carolina
