What have the unions done for you lately?

unions have lowered the quality of education, vehicles, and goods in which there is union involvement!!! Unions are the same as the "big corporations" that the libs whine about daily!!! They are nothing but greedy money grubbers and use their due payers as nothing more that monkey organ grinders!!!

As gee wally points out (the typical lib) he is DEPENDENT on others in which personal responsibility is supposed to be in place!! Libs are like children, they need to be fed, changes, and have their hand held for them!!!!

My union sent me to school, helped me obtain my first mortgage and showed me how to pay it off early. They showed me how to maximize my 401-k. As a result I could retire early if I desired.

Nothing makes me feel more American than attending a Union meeting. It's like the guy in the Norman Rockwell picture standing up to give his voice at a town hall meeting. Much like that, I have a say in my destiny.

I feel so sorry that young people today will never experience that. The GOP is setting it up so you all will have to work until the day they die.

Where to start.

The Biggest one is that I am gay, and I can teach elementary school ONLY because my Union Contract protects me as a Gay Man. Only Los Angeles and San Francisco give WRITTEN CONTRACTUAL protection and tenure to me as a teacher. That is because my union (God Bless Them) United Teachers Los Angeles has a Gay and Lesbian Committee to protect our rights.

I earn a living wage with good benefits.
