To what degree has China's economic stronghold emboldened human rights violations?

China tells U.S. to quit as human rights judge

http://www.reuters.com/article/2011/04/10/us-china...

Chinese rights lawyers and advocates have also been dismayed by a recent burst of arrests, detentions and heavy sentences against dissidents and activists.

On Sunday, hundreds of Chinese police moved to prevent a planned outdoor service by a church in Beijing that had been evicted from its former premises.

How, to what extent?

Beijing had stepped up restrictions on lawyers, activists, bloggers and journalists, and tightened controls on civil society.

It has also increased its efforts to control the press, Internet and Internet access, the report said.

    As said, they get to do anything they want to do to their people. If Obama get more debt and a tax increase, China will be more willing to enslave your children with more debt and more abuse of their people.

    He who pays the piper gets to call the tune. China is telling the US to shut up and borrow more.

    Alas, the idiots in Congress are likely to do just that.

    From their angle, China is a big, politically fragile country which needs an iron hand. Otherwise it would get in risk of starting to crumble. China sees itself in danger of changing toward being submitted one way or another to foreign influence, yet it has to dance along the global social, economic and political changes which constantly lead to an unknown constellation of political events - into an uncertain future it tries to keep control of by itself.

    USA is a politically aggressive country which sees itself as God-given in the NWO constellation, acting as judge and butcher on their Sacrifice Altar of Invincibility. Its cheap, yet self-explanatory mask is "democracy" and "human rights", with which it swings its bloody and intoxicating sword around the globe, looking for any weakness in the shields of its enemies, applauded by idiotic and ignorant masses which fuel its warmongering thrust.

    USA knows by prime excellency how to infiltrate into the structures of a confronted sovereign country or highest international organization, putrefy and corrupt its base, and finally swing a deadly "democratic" blow, covered with a convenient media manipulating outfit with which it pushes forward an exchange of thesis... It has done that all along its voracious nature of being, and will continue buying its time in this world until it hopefully implodes.

    As far as I go, answering this from my biased personal point of view, I may like and dislike this and that in the two countries, but the 20 tons of depleted uranium have 4.46 billion years of half-life... The 20 tons of depleted uranium go far beyond any existing, rhetorical or relative human rights violations. They are the arch example of the American way of treating fellow human beings, the water, air and soil which belong to all of us. That is degrading below any imaginable standard of human dignity, at least the 4.46 billion years to come. Practically, they have done that to their own people - us...

    I hope the Chinese keep maturing as society and will end up ruling the world in the name of God :)

    To answer your question;

    Huge, when they became the largest debt holder of American debt it emboldened them since the threat of selling off or not buying more of our debt made America China's puppet....
