With the budget deal reached, will the military see a full paycheck on the 15th?

My LES still shows only half of my paycheck amount but was wondering since there will no longer be a govt. shutdown will we see a full paycheck on the 15th? if so, when will my LES show my correct paycheck amount?

Yes, everyone is getting full pay. The DFAS advises that there may be TWO deposits on payday that equal your normal full. So, everyone gets full in either one or two deposits.

EDIT: Don't know why domeone is giving thumbs down. Here is what is posted on the DFS site:

Active Duty: You will receive your full mid-month pay on April 15, but the most current Advice of Pays will still only show the partial payments for April 1-8. This will allow us to make sure we can still process pay for April 9 -15 and take steps to ensure it is in bank accounts on the 15th. A full accounting of your April pay will be available on your normal end of month Leave and Earnings Statement, posted to your myPay account on April 22, 2011.

PLEASE NOTE-- Reservists: You will receive your full mid-month pay on April 15, but the most current Leave and Earnings Statement (LES) will still only show the partial payments for April 1-8. This will allow us to still process pay for April 9-15 and take steps to ensure it is in bank accounts by the 15th. A full accounting of your April pay will be available on your normal end of month LES, posted to your myPay account on April 22, 2011.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. The good news is we can ensure you receive their normal pay on April 15.

    PAY STATUS:

All military and reservists will receive full pay on April 15 for duty served. There will be more than one deposit into your account, but again, all payments will be deposited on April 15. Check with your bank to confirm the amount deposited into your account on the 15th.

Civilian Pay is not impacted in any way.

definite, you will gets a commission. somebody mentioned, "bear in ideas that the priority handy isn't a difficulty of the present 112th Congress with the abode controlled by Republicans....that's a leftover from the 111th Congress with the abode and Senate the two controlled by Democrats. They did no longer positioned up a funds to the President previous to Oct 2010 as they are meant to." it rather is deceptive. The Democrats had a majority interior the Senate yet did no longer administration it. the abode handed a funds interior the eleventh Congress. whether, 60 votes are mandatory to bypass a bill interior the Senate and the Republicans blocked the funds bill interior the Senate.

Mid month LES will not change but you will receive 2 deposits not 1 for your pay on the 15th. So you are aware the budget wasn't actually reached they have until Friday to work it out otherwise it will be this all over again where government offices will shut down

    Yes we will.

If you are in the Military and looked at your mid-month LES prior to the April 8th resolution, you will have noticed that your mid-month pay was roughly half of what it normally is. But, if you attempt to look at it now you will notice that you cannot. DFAS has temporarily stopped access "error message" to our LES as they make the appropriate changes to our mid-month pay. Nothing to worry about, our Government is taking care of us. DFAS is working through the weekend to resolve the LES issue ASAP.

Best of luck to all the Service Members affected by this. To anybody who supports more than their own mouth, I hope this was a good wake-up call to you. Do the best you can to save for craziness like this, I know it's hard in the Military but this is a reality we submitted ourselves to when we swore to protect the Constitution. Just the fact that loss of pay was a possibility, proves that you really need to look out for your own. Create a budget and stick to it service members!

    God bless America
