What is the best kitchen appliance for kneading dough?
I would like something that I could use 2-3 times a week and not have to worry about it burning out.

I'd get a Kitchenaid food mixer with the dough hook attachment - great appliance, very reliable :)

Like Sue said "Kenwood Chef and the dough hook.."
Been making bread this way for a couple of years, 5 mins in the Chef saves 20mins of kneading by hand and the elasticity is just as good.
Do check the load capacity of the machine though. I burn't out two cheap machines by trying to use more than 400g of flour.
We now own a Kenwood Chef KM265 with dough hook and it'll quite happily mix 500g of flour. But it's not a cheap machine though!

I would get a kitchen aid mixer. They have a dough hook that works wonders. Expensive though, but in my opinion it's worth it.

Gram, mom, and myself have always relied on our hands... they never burn out, and you develop forearm strength.
