Where to stay in Ravenna?
We've got one or two nights to spend in Ravenna while on a trip to Italy. I'd prefer the equivalent of a bed and breakfast place, or a small but elegant hotel. This side trip will be for my anniversary, getting away from the rest of the family for a day or two. I'd like a place that is within walking distance of the churches with the famous mosaics.

I've only stayed in two of the hotels in Ravenna since I don't live too far away. Both were in the old town and both very nice. the smaller and less expensive of the two is the Hotel Diana: http://www.venere.com/hotels/ravenna/hotel-diana/ . The other place was the Albergo Cappello http://www.venere.com/hotels/ravenna/hotel-albergo... . I would gladly stay at either again.

That's impossible, we've got churches and mosaics all over town!! XD
Anyway, Conley's right: I use both hotels to accomodate my clients when they're coming to town and they're both very nice, clean and right in the heart of Ravenna. "Il Cappello" is the most expensive of the two, very nice and cozy, has got a gourmet restaurant and a fine wine bar.
Anyway, if you're looking for something a bit cheaper, check these out:

They are all in the same area, A Casa di Paola is less than 200 meters from il Cappello and I've been told it's value for money.
