While searching on Google maps, a dialogue box popped up, saying "adobe test"?

and had a red circle with an x in it, and a box that said "OK". There was no box with an "X" in the top right hand corner to turn it off. Is it a virus?

Update:

The box would not go away, even after closing all programs that were running and opting for "restart computer". I cut the power and rebooted.
