'92 Eldorado coupe $950 .. good deal?
It's running good at the moment. It has 200,000 miles on the odometer. Do you think it's gonna last much longer. It looks like it's been taken care of.. I just need a daily driver. Buy it or pass?

Get details from seller, esp maint & repair records.
Have a well qualified mechanic do a pre-purchase check on it.
In some areas there are mobile mechanic who'l come to your location.
Preferably, have a Caddy dealer check it and run its VIN vs their proprietary database.
Search it's VIN very thoroughly online w/ 3 services other than Carfax. CF is ok for a fourth opinion.
If you buy it, write a detailed Bill of Sale that conforms to your state's laws & regs, at least VIN, both legal signatures, seller warrants it will pass oinspection or full refund via Certified Check, dated.
Get sellers photo ID pref from a current drivers' license and write it down. Be sure signatures on title and ID match.
If they dont have the title "at the moment," it's prob a scam.
Sure you'r ready to use car this for a daily driver car w/ gas @ $4.?

"It's running good at the moment."
Okay.
"It has 200,000 miles on the odometer"
So what?
"Do you think it's gonna last much longer."
In regards to what? Cars don't have an expiration mileage. So why would a specific amount of miles indicate how much longer it would last?
"It looks like it's been taken care of."
How it looks has nothing to do with how well it's been maintained. You can clean up any car. Doesn't mean it'll run well.
Buy it or pass? How would we know? You provided ZERO useful information about the condition of the car.
Based on that, there's no way for us to say if it's a good deal or not.
Hey, I'm looking at buying a tv that's local, for $400, is it a good deal?

This is one question I get SOOOOO tired of.
If you can buy a car for 950.00 AND IT RUNS....quit asking questions and go buy the F*(KING thing already. God damn.
What do you expect for 950.00? Come on man.
