does bleaching kill your hair?
i have natural light brown/blonde hair. i started dieing it about 2 years ago. i went from dark browns, to dark purple and now its blue/black (xxl live colour). i want to go back to my natural hair colour but im afrad that it will kill my hair. my hair is really long so growing out the dye isnt an option. also i dont want to cut my hair as i would like it to be really long. i wuld like to either bleach it or get it stripped. any advice?

Yes it does damage your hair, quite a bit, even more than using a regular dye. Stripping it will damage your hair pretty badly. Plus those methods will not make your hair look better, they will just make your hair look worse.
Just go to a stylist because they can help you fix it. Don't try and do it yourself, hairstylists exist for a reason

Dying your hair will damage it either way, when my friend bleached her tips to tip dye it, (she has dirty blonde hair also) it was very damaged after. All of the blonde was all split ends and she used professional dye. Box dye will hurt your hair more than professional. I would go to sally's beauty supply and ask them what bleach is good for your hair and get a really good deep repairing mask for your hair.

Well, first of all your hair is technically dead already lol
Bleaching it once won't hurt it usually, but bleaching it on top of many other dye jobs will make it much more dry and brittle than if you hadn't colored your hair underneath. ALso, going from black to blonde you will most likely have to bleach it a few times, and thats definitely going to give you a head full of straw. Have a professional bleach you to minimize the damage.

It's definitely bad for your hair but if you want to be blonde again you probably won't be happy until you are. First of all, don't try to do it yourself. Go to a professional and they can help you. Also, take extra good care of your hair before and after. Get better conditioner and maybe even a treatment of some kind. Good luck!

i had my hair red and was told it was the most difficult hair dye to remove along with black and i've had mine both colours and got it back to my natural colour by using Colour b4.
it's a really great product that helps strip the colour out and brings it back incredibly close to your natural colour the only bad thing is it stinks so have lots of candles and perfume! but other than that its brilliant! good luck :) I'd really advise you not to bleach it!

At this point, you really need to consult with a professional. Trying to get rid of blue/black is really difficult and if you do it wrong, you will damage your hair severely, to the point where you'll be getting a really short haircut.

Have it for sure it will kill it! No doubt! I have bleached my hair and the outcome feeling is like hay! Terrible! Looks good, but its nasty when u touch it. Specially when you have a dark color, takes so many rounds for bleaching.

Go to master cuts and they have a blueberry scented bleach you can ask for, it actually HEALS your hair! Or use hydrogen peroxcide.

Yes it does think about what does to your skin. If you don't knowe it's an acid it kinda melts your skin.
