I have a dining room that is a 4 inch step down from the rest of my house.?
I'm in Arizona and my house is on a concrete slab. (no basement) How would I go about making this floor level with the rest of the house? Can I have concrete poured? What kind of prep would have to be done?
The room is 180 sq. feet. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!

yes concrete can be built up with more cement but you may want to consider a wooden structure. It would be cheaper and probably less prep and mess. use termite resistant wood and if there is a chance of dampness, use a vapour barrier on top of the existing floor.
