Someone wants to pay for my craigslist item through paypal. How do I jave paypal handle the payment.

You need a PayPal account.
You also would need to link a bank account or credit card to your PayPal to verify your identity and be 18 or older.
The thing is: What is it you are selling through CL? There are a lot of people that will troll CL and then say they will pay you through PayPal, then do a dispute and you end up with the money taken back from you and losing whatever item you were selling.

First you have to join Paypal. There is no charge. Then when the person pays you through Paypal, Paypal will email you to say the money is in Paypal's hands. Then to actually get the money into your bank, you go back on Paypal and click on "withdraw cash" or similar, and it takes a few days but it gets to your bank ok. I did it once.
